On the North Folk of Long Island there exists many beautiful hamlets and beaches. This wooden structure is buried at the shoreline, 5 altogether, in the 1930s to create a safe harbor. The ships are believed to be WWI era wooden freighters. Now they are the home to much sea life and are enjoyed by many snorkelers.
