Description

Monivea is a village in Count Galway, approximately 6 miles from Athenry, Ireland. While visiting, I visited the homestead of our ancestors. There we found this quaint thatched cottage, sitting amidst a field of daffodils, grazing sheep, and a welcoming path leading to its entrance. The rolling hillside can be seen in the background under a soft blue sky. As I took in this moment, I could only dream of what life must have been like in this peaceful homestead.
